Vertical Turning Heads

The machine is equipped with two vertical heads. (The RH ram is standard LH ram is optional.) The head ram – steel – is provided with sliding surfaces, surface hardened and ground. The travel drive of the head and ram is carried out from separate motors of infinitely variable speeds through ball screws. Ball screw for travel of ram is equipped with an electromagnetic released built-in motor. The sliding surfaces of the head are lined with straps of synthetic plastics
Clamping of Toolheads, Toolholders and tools is done in the following way:
Clamping of turning Toolholders is carried out by means of disc springs and releasing by means of hydraulics. Tool taper of turning Toolholders – ISO 60.
Clamping of turning cutters KM 80 in turning Toolholders is carried out also by means of disc springs and releasing hydraulically.
The exchange of turning Toolheads and turning tools can be carried out in full automatic cycle.
